💼 About This Role

You'll join Wachter's Nationwide Service & Projects team as a traveling technician. Your core impact is installing and maintaining low voltage cabling systems for commercial clients. This role offers extensive travel and on-the-job training for CCTV.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Install and terminate Cat5e, fiber optic, and low voltage cabling
• Install and troubleshoot IP video, access control, and network devices
• Perform site surveys and develop scope of work and materials lists
• Test and troubleshoot cable systems to ensure operational compliance

📋 Requirements

• Data Cable Technician experience with CAT5e, fiber optic, and network
• Available for extensive travel 6-8 weeks at a time
• Knowledge of industry standards (NEC, TIA/EIA, BICSI)
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in last 3 years)

✨ Nice to Have

• Industry certifications (BICSI, Systimax, Panduit, Beldon, Corning)
• Fiber installation and termination experience
• CCTV, voice, and data cabling experience
