💼 About This Role

You'll join Hawthorne Cat's service team to repair and maintain Caterpillar power generation equipment for diverse industries. You'll ensure equipment reliability through diagnostics, fluid analysis, and load testing. This role offers comprehensive training and clear advancement paths.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform repair, maintenance, and rebuilding of equipment in shop or field.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems and document on field reports.
• Conduct system surveys, audits, and fluid sampling.
• Perform resistive/reactive load testing of generator sets.

📋 Requirements

• Valid California Class C Driver's License.
• Minimum two years experience repairing Caterpillar/EPG/power generation equipment.
• High school graduate or equivalent with verifiable training in genset repairs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAT ET, and SIS computer programs.

✨ Nice to Have

• Associate degree in diesel technology or related field.
• Experience with load bank testing and fluid analysis.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar CVA programs.
