Description

You will be involved throughout the product lifecycle, from idea generation to shipping, building backend services and APIs for Pattern Data's AI-powered mass tort litigation platform. You'll collaborate with product and executive teams and help shape the engineering team's growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to analyze business needs and select appropriate technical solutions
• Experience working with startup teams
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining backend APIs, preferably as team lead
• 8+ years experience in Software Engineering

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement backend services including core API for data processing
• Write code mostly in Scala
• Promote technical design and coding standards for platform and product roadmaps
• Continually improve product architecture through direct changes or building tools
