💼 About This Role

You'll lead Helsing's international accounting function, owning financial records, compliance, and process design. Your core impact will be shaping scalable finance infrastructure for a mission-driven defence AI company. This role offers genuine organisational influence at a pivotal growth stage.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and develop an international accounting team across multiple locations
• Own timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage statutory filings under HGB and consolidated accounts under IFRS
• Oversee general ledger, AP, AR, and asset accounting
• Architect and improve internal finance workflows with automation and AI tooling

📋 Requirements

• Extensive experience in accounting leadership with international teams
• Delivered multi-entity IFRS consolidations and knowledge of IFRS 15
• Strong working knowledge of German GAAP (HGB)
• Proficient in SAP and associated ERP tools
• Business-fluent in German and fluent in English

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with defence sector and export regulations
• ACA, CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• Experience implementing new ERP systems or financial AI tooling
