You'll lead a team of data scientists partnering with product teams to inform strategy and product decisions at the Wikimedia Foundation. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Ensure timely delivery of accurate quantitative data and insights to product teams.
• Manage a team of roughly seven data scientists, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Mentor team members on critical thinking, storytelling, and stakeholder partnership.
• Collaborate with data engineering to build and maintain accessible data products.

📋 Requirements

• Deep experience with experimental design and statistics applied to internet-scale data.
• Experience collaborating with product development teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior people management experience.
• Experience with large-scale data tools like Hadoop, Hive, Presto, and Spark.

• Exposure to ethical data management and privacy practices.
• Contributed to Wikimedia projects or other open source projects.
• Experience with Superset, Growthbook, or open-source testing/visualization tools.
