Description

You will develop mathematical models for core ridesharing services, focusing on optimization, prediction, and machine learning to match supply and demand in real time. You'll collaborate with engineers and product managers to build production algorithms, run experiments, and drive improvements that enhance experiences for both riders and drivers.

Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Machine Learning, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics or other quantitative fields
• 2+ years professional experience in a technology company
• Proven experience building and evaluating machine learning models
• Proficiency with Python and production coding environment
• End-to-end experience with data: querying, aggregation, analysis, and visualization

Responsibilities

• Leverage data and analytic frameworks to direct improvements of algorithms and models
• Partner with Engineers, Product Managers to frame problems mathematically and in business context
• Perform exploratory data analysis to understand problems deeply
• Construct and fit statistical, machine learning, or optimization models
• Write production modeling code and collaborate with engineers to implement algorithms in production
