You'll architect high-scale distributed systems and lead development of autonomous agents for Illumio's breach containment platform. Your work will drive complex automation and insights across hybrid multi-cloud environments. This role offers the chance to shape the future of cybersecurity with a Zero Trust Segmentation leader.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and optimize high-throughput event-driven systems using Apache Kafka
• Build and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Apache Spark or Flink
• Design sophisticated AI Agents for autonomous planning and tool-use
• Lead architectural design of containerized services on Kubernetes

📋 Requirements

• 5-8 years of backend engineering experience in Java, Python, or Go
• Expertise in distributed systems and asynchronous architectures (Kafka)
• Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks like AutoGen or CrewAI
• Experience with agentic observability using Langfuse or Evals

✨ Nice to Have

• Expertise in building reusable Terraform modules
• Deep experience in vector database indexing strategies (HNSW vs IVF)
• Experience with LLM deployment optimization (vLLM, TensorRT-LLM)
