Description

You will lead Japan-focused accelerator programs, helping Japanese startups expand into U.S. markets. You'll manage program execution, recruit startups, build relationships with partners like JETRO, and provide mentorship to founders.

Requirements

• Fluency in both Japanese and English
• Deep commitment to building the startup ecosystem in Japan
• Ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects
• Strong cross-cultural interpersonal skills
• Experience as a founder, in a venture-backed company, or in venture capital preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, logistics, and execution of multiple gener8tor programs per year
• Manage hybrid, virtual, and in-person program components
• Serve as lead mentor and coach for participating startups
• Recruit and select promising startups with global ambitions
• Manage relationships with JETRO, local governments, and other program partners
