Description

You will design and operate secure, scalable infrastructure foundations powering the engineering organization at Housecall Pro. You'll work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and policy automation, translating security requirements into platform abstractions that make secure delivery the easiest path for product teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years in software, infrastructure, or systems engineering
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS production systems
• Strong expertise with Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
• Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution for AWS as a stable, scalable service platform
• Own architecture and health of AWS environments including compute, networking, storage, identity, and Kubernetes
• Drive platform reliability, performance, and fault tolerance via observability and resilience engineering
• Build and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code as the default operating model
• Manage cloud cost visibility and optimization
