Description

You will join a multi-disciplinary team designing plumbing and fire protection systems for large-scale buildings, including educational, healthcare, and commercial projects. Lead complex designs, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients and project teams.

Requirements

• Associate degree in relevant field
• 8+ years of related experience
• Current CPD, PE or FPE preferred
• Strong knowledge of Life Safety Codes
• Experience with Revit, Trane Trace or Trane 3D Plus

Responsibilities

• Perform and direct complex design of ductwork, piping, and equipment selection for plumbing and fire protection systems
• Oversee, guide, and mentor design team; direct work of less experienced staff
• Prepare Revit/BIM modeling of construction drawings from schematic design to construction administration
• Interface with clients and project team; attend OAC meetings
• Participate in value engineering sessions and recommend process improvements
