About the Role We're looking for a Social Growth Intern (or contractor) to work directly alongside our Social Growth lead, building and experimenting with creator-driven campaigns that turn attention into growth. You'll be hands-on with sourcing creators, running UGC deals, and spotting what's trending before everyone else does. Along the way, you'll learn how a category-defining creator tool thinks about growth from the inside. This is a great fit for someone who lives and breathes the creator economy and short-form content, moves fast, and wants real ownership rather than a typical "intern project." What You'll Do Source and vet creators for UGC and campaign partnerships. Negotiate and manage UGC deals end-to-end, staying flexible and in constant communication with creators. Stay active on X, Instagram, and TikTok to scout emerging trends, formats, and ideas worth capturing. Use AI tools like Claude to prompt and build automated workflows that make campaign execution faster and more scalable. Turn ideas into real experiments quickly, without waiting to be asked. What We're Looking For Know how to bring a product to market and turn attention into growth. Live and breathe the creator economy, short-form content, and UGC. Comfortable managing multiple creator relationships at once, with strong communication and follow-through. Move fast and bias toward action: you'd rather test an idea than debate it. Able to work PT hours. Take initiative without being asked. Bonus Points Experience growing social channels for other companies or brands. An existing creator network you can tap into. Comfort experimenting with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to speed up workflows. What You'll Get Direct mentorship from real creators and team members in the creative field: not just a manager, a collaborator. Exposure to OpusClip's actual growth strategy, working alongside the Growth lead day to day. A chance to learn social media and growth from the inside of the #1 clipping tool in the market, while helping push that further. Talent over resume. SF/Bay Area is a plus (in-person is fun!), but remote works too. Age doesn't matter, driven high schoolers welcome. Competitive pay, especially for interns. If you're interested in being a UGC creator for OpusClip, email [email protected] 📩 EEO OpusClip is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate in hiring or any employment decision based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or other applicable legally protected characteristics. OpusClip considers qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with applicable federal, state and local law. Opus Clip is also committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans in our job application procedures.

Interns will work on production-oriented projects involving LLM pipeline design, structured data extraction, and quantitative modeling to support investment research. We are looking for team players with a collaborative mindset and a strong work ethic—candidates who take ownership of their work but remain open to feedback, eager to learn from others, and committed to collective success. A low-ego, problem-solving approach is essential for success in this role. What you'll do Interns will design, build, and iterate on LLM-powered solutions—including structured data extraction pipelines, RAG systems, and AI-assisted investment research tools. You’ll work hands-on with large financial datasets, applying quantitative modeling and statistical analysis to support investment performance research across StepStone’s private markets portfolio. Key responsibilities Design and iterate on LLM-powered pipelines for document processing tasks such as structured data extraction, RAG system design, prompt engineering, and LLM-output evaluation. Build and optimize quantitative models and end-to-end data pipelines using Python, and SQL for large-scale financial data extraction and transformation. Analyze large financial datasets and apply quantitative modeling to surface investment insights. Document technical findings, model design decisions, and pipeline architecture; communicate results clearly to both technical teammates and non-technical investment stakeholders. What we're looking for Pursuing a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. Ability to work in-person in our La Jolla during the 2027 summer intern program and work part time remotely during the 2028 Fall semester. Strong Python coding skills with experience in data pipelines and quantitative modeling; SQL proficiency required, with demonstrated ability to work with large, messy real-world datasets. Experience or coursework in AI/ML (LLMs, NLP, data retrieval, vector embeddings) is highly preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented, hands-on approach to work. Team-oriented and adaptable—able to balance independent work with collaborative projects. Open to feedback and continuous improvement, with a strong intellectual curiosity. Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Azure), vector databases, or workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow) is a plus. Willingness to contribute at all levels—whether tackling complex modeling or assisting with data prep, no task is too small. Why join us? At StepStone, we foster a supportive and inclusive team culture where collaboration and learning are the core of what we do.
