Product Marketing Director

Chicago, Illinois, United States

$190.5k-$240k / year

About Us Perk (formerly TravelPerk) is the intelligent platform for travel and spend management. Built to tackle the time-consuming, manual work that gets in the way of real work, our tools automate everything from travel bookings to expenses, invoice processing, and more. By eliminating this shadow work that wastes hours, erodes morale, and saps innovation, we're on a mission to power real work, with real impact. We're trusted by more than 12,000 companies worldwide, including On Running, Breitling, and Fabletics, and we're tackling the 7 hours of lost productivity per employee each week, a $1.7 trillion problem . Founded in 2015, Perk has grown into a global company of more than 1,800 people across 12 offices globally, with headquarters in London and Boston. We combine innovation, control, and simplicity to transform how businesses work and how people feel at work. At Perk, we're driven by our values, like being an owner, delivering a 7-star experience, and working as one team. We value curiosity, purpose, and mindset, not just knowledge, to unlock the power in your potential. Our talent team brings together leading minds from the travel, fintech, and SaaS industries, representing over 70 countries. If you're excited about having a real impact and shaping how millions of people experience work, we'd love you on the team. Visit www.perk.com to learn more. About the Role Perk is scaling fast: 12,000+ customers, 1,800 people, and a platform that has expanded into Travel, Spend and Events. We've rebranded and we're building for category leadership. As Product Marketing Director you'll build the compelling narratives that communicate Perk's value proposition and set us apart from our competitors, run the go-to-market engine that turns product investment into commercial outcomes, and build the competitive intelligence function that keeps the whole company sharp. Your work will influence how Revenue wins deals and how product decides what we build next. This is a senior leadership role for someone who has built and led product marketing in high-growth B2B SaaS, has owned GTM for complex software products, and has a track record of turning product investment into commercial outcomes. You understand the finance buyer, you know how to build positioning that holds up under competitive pressure, and you've done this long enough to have a genuine point of view on what good looks like. You're an exceptional storyteller who can take a technically complex platform and make the value clear and compelling for a CFO-level buyer. You're comfortable operating at executive level across Product, Revenue, and Marketing. And you get into the detail because you want to - you want to be the person who knows this space better than anyone in the room. You'll lead the PMM team, setting the standard for the function, developing your team, and doing meaningful work yourself. What You’ll Do The platform narrative Own how the market understands Perk. That means the core messaging architecture, how we position the T&S platform against the alternatives, and the "why Perk" story that runs from the website to the pitch deck to the sales conversation. A key objective is shifting market perception from individual products to a unified platform built for modern finance teams. Go-to-market and launches Own the end-to-end GTM strategy for new products and major launches. You'll be responsible for moving from reactive launches to a predictable, commercially focused engine that improves product adoption and reduces execution risk. Every significant launch should follow a consistent framework and land with commercial momentum, not just coverage. Market and competitive intelligence Build a best-in-class intelligence capability: competitive analysis, win/loss, customer research, and market signals that improve how we sell. You'll represent the voice of the market inside the revenue team, to ensure our messaging and positioning is built on what buyers actually care about and where we genuinely win. Revenue enablement Partner closely with Revenue leadership and the sales enablement team, to improve win rates, platform attach, sales confidence, and launch effectiveness. The measure of success is a sales team that can clearly articulate Perk's differentiated story and a PMM function recognised as a genuine commercial partner. Team and function Lead and develop the PMM team, create the operating rhythms and quality standards that allow the function to scale, and establish PMM as one of the company's most trusted strategic partners. You'll also shape what the function looks like as Perk grows. What We’re Looking For You've spent meaningful time in B2B SaaS and you have a track record of building positioning that earns internal trust and wins externally. You know how to build a differentiated position. You understand the strategic choices that determine where a product competes and why it wins, and you can distill a technically complex platform into a story that lands clearly with a senior finance buyer. You thrive on understanding the buyer, the market, and the competitive picture inside out. You get into the detail because you want to, and you want to be the person in the room who knows this space better than anyone. You think commercially and use data to make decisions. You've built repeatable operating models, and you're as comfortable challenging a product roadmap priority as writing the launch brief. You're highly influential and a strong communicator. You bring people with you across Product, Revenue, and Marketing - building alignment through the strength of your ideas -and you take communication seriously, owning the process end to end from how a message is crafted to how it lands across the organisation. You're an AI-first operator. You use AI to change how the work gets done: faster research, stronger competitive analysis, higher-quality outputs. You'll bring that to how this team operates. This isn't optional - we're an AI-first company and we expect our leaders to lead that way. What we offer Receive competitive compensation and equity ownership in Perk Rest and recharge with our generous allocation of 20 vacation days and 12 public holidays Enjoy the flexibility of three medical plans to choose from, with company contributions and an HSA when enrolling in an HDHP medical plan Take control of your physical health with additional comprehensive benefit plans, covering dental, vision and Wellhub’s gym subscription from your start date Rest assured that you’re covered by life and disability policies from your start date, with options to add extra protection through voluntary buy-up plans Plan for your future with our 401(k) plan with company matching contributions Care for your furry friends through partner discounts on pet insurance Join our unforgettable Perk events, including our spectacular annual summer party Always feel supported with Spring Health, our market-leading wellbeing partner, providing fast, comprehensive access to 12x therapy and 12x coaching sessions for you and your loved ones Focus on your family with 12-16 weeks’ paid parental leave Contribute to your community with 16 paid hours per year to spend volunteering for your dearest charitable causes Broaden your horizons with up to 20 "Work from Anywhere" days per year Follow your passions and take a four-week, fully paid sabbatical once you reach 5 years Let us help you move to one of our hubs with relocation support Compensation: Compensation for this role is a combination of salary and stock options. This is a high-impact role at the heart of one of our most important strategic priorities: establishing Perk as a leading voice in major business and financial press. Both markets are fast-growing for Perk, and cutting through in either requires deep journalist relationships, a sharp corporate narrative, and someone who can work at the pace of a major news cycle. You'll be the on-the-ground force behind our Tier 1 media strategy, shaping how our executives show up in the press and building the kind of earned presence no paid campaign can replicate. Shape the corporate narrative: Work with senior leadership to develop and maintain Perk's corporate narrative, ensuring our messaging on company growth, financial performance, AI innovation and platform positioning is consistent, compelling and landing with the right audiences. Drive executive profiling: Partner closely with our C-suite to build their media profiles — crafting commentary, preparing spokespeople for interviews, and developing a proactive profiling strategy that puts our executives in front of the journalists and audiences that matter most. Translate tech and AI narrative: Work with product and engineering teams to turn Perk's AI and technology innovation into media-ready stories — making complex product developments accessible, relevant and newsworthy for mainstream business press. Manage PR agency relationships: Brief, manage and hold our US and UK PR agencies accountable to clear KPIs — bringing the rigour and direction needed to get the most out of the partnership while building in-house capability alongside it. Bring AI into the workflow : Bring AI tools into day-to-day PR operations, from media monitoring and drafting to research and reporting, to make the function faster and sharper without losing judgement or voice. What we're looking for Experience Extensive experience in PR or corporate communications with a clear focus on the US and UK market Deep, existing relationships with Tier 1 US and UK financial and business press and proven track record securing earned coverage (digital and broadcast) Financial communications background — experienced handling funding rounds, M&A and business performance narratives Experience building compelling corporate narratives — able to take complex positioning and turn it into a differentiated story that lands with business press Demonstrated experience working directly with senior leadership teams to craft commentary and prepare C-suite spokespeople Strong agency management background — comfortable briefing, managing and holding agencies to account Strong background in B2B technology, fintech or SaaS essential Skills Sharp editorial judgement — knows what makes a story Strong writer — press releases, bylines, executive commentary and media briefings all to a high standard Confident media trainer and spokesperson coach for C-suite executives Comfortable working with data (survey results, product analytics, market research) and shaping it into a clear, pitchable narrative Commercially minded — understands how PR contributes to pipeline, brand salience and competitive positioning Comfortable building AI into day-to-day PR workflows (drafting, research, monitoring, reporting) to work faster without sacrificing judgement or quality. Ways of working Self-starter who can own a US and UK PR programme independently and support the Director of Communications on corporate and financial priorities, while collaborating closely with a global team Comfortable working across time zones and managing multiple stakeholders simultaneously Data-driven — uses coverage data, share of voice and inbound metrics to inform strategy and demonstrate ROI Thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where priorities shift quickly Intellectually curious — reads widely, spots trends early and brings proactive story ideas to the table unprompted What we offer Receive competitive compensation and equity ownership in Perk Rest and recharge with our generous allocation of 20 vacation days and 12 public holidays Enjoy the flexibility of three medical plans to choose from, with company contributions and an HSA when enrolling in an HDHP medical plan Take control of your physical health with additional comprehensive benefit plans, covering dental, vision and Wellhub’s gym subscription from your start date Rest assured that you’re covered by life and disability policies from your start date, with options to add extra protection through voluntary buy-up plans Plan for your future with our 401(k) plan with company matching contributions Care for your furry friends through partner discounts on pet insurance Join our unforgettable Perk events, including our spectacular annual summer party Always feel supported with Spring Health, our market-leading wellbeing partner, providing fast, comprehensive access to 12x therapy and 12x coaching sessions for you and your loved ones Focus on your family with 12-16 weeks’ paid parental leave Contribute to your community with 16 paid hours per year to spend volunteering for your dearest charitable causes Broaden your horizons with up to 20 "Work from Anywhere" days per year Follow your passions and take a four-week, fully paid sabbatical once you reach 5 years Let us help you move to one of our hubs with relocation support Compensation: Compensation for this role is a combination of salary and stock options. Regional GM - Chicago (Remote)

New York, New York, United States · Chicago, Illinois, United States

Regional GM at Unframe Location: Chicago, Illinois (Remote) About Unframe Unframe is an AI-first startup helping the world’s largest enterprises bring LLM-powered applications to life in days - not months. We combine the speed of a product company with the flexibility of a consultancy, helping customers move from idea to deployed AI systems faster than anyone else in the market. With over $100M in TCV secured within 12 months, and a new $50M Series B led by Highland Europe, Unframe is rapidly scaling globally alongside Fortune 500 customers, backed by Bessemer, Craft, and TLV. About the role: We’re looking for a Regional GM to join our team and help drive our go-to-market motion. You’ll play a pivotal role in landing our first major customers, shaping our sales playbook, and partnering directly with the VP of Sales and founder to build a high-performance revenue engine. What you’ll do: Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles into highly regulated industries (FinServ, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail) where our on-premises capabilities provide a competitive advantage. Build pipeline from zero in an early-stage environment—identify and win strategic enterprise accounts with no hand-raisers or established playbook. Translate complex AI/ML capabilities into compelling business outcomes for C-suite stakeholders, positioning Unframe for companies seeking to “buy vs. build” AI capabilities. Architect multi-year expansion strategies and build deep relationships across IT, product, and innovation teams. Collaborate directly with the VP of Sales and founders to refine the enterprise strategy and influence the product roadmap What we are looking for: 8+ years enterprise software sales with consistent quota over-achievement at Fortune 500 companies Proven track record closing $1M+ ACV deals in early-stage environments Experience selling complex technical solutions to CIO organizations Background in AI/ML platforms, digital transformation, enterprise data platforms, or management consulting Entrepreneurial mindset, you thrive in ambiguity, own outcomes, and build from scratch Success in highly regulated industries with complex compliance requirements Nice to have: Regulated industry experience, early-stage success Why join us? Compensation is uncapped with aggressive accelerators. At $1M+ ACV deal sizes, this structure rewards over-performance on meaningful deals. Our VP of Sales joined Unframe for three reasons: a founder with a proven exit, tier-one investors, and a product that's genuinely different and defensible. The GTM approach backs that up. Buyers get a free POC, tailored to their actual use case, delivered in days. No data sharing, no upfront cost, no six-month consulting engagement before anyone sees value. You'll work directly with the VP of Sales and founders, shape GTM strategy, close the deals that define our market position, and hold equity in a company with real institutional backing and momentum. We hire with intention. If you thrive in a performance culture with real backing behind you, you will win here. Ready to Build the Future? If this opportunity excites you, apply now!

Principal, Enterprise AI Transformation

New York, New York, United States · Chicago, Illinois, United States · Miami, Florida, United States · Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States

Principal, Enterprise AI Transformation Location: East Coast - Remote About the role: Principals are hunters. Senior ones. This role exists to do what most sales teams can't: open executive relationships at the world's largest companies, and do it with credibility, not cold tactics. You will work alongside our most seasoned Regional GMs, creating the access they need to run and win major accounts. Your job is to make sure the right person is in the room, and to be the one who got them there. You know how transformation decisions actually get made inside a Global 2000 company. You understand the difference between a champion and a sponsor. You know how to find your way to a CIO, CTO, or Chief Transformation Officer, through the right relationship, the right introduction, or the right moment, not a cold subject line. What you’ll do: Hunt and open enterprise accounts across target industries, including Financial Services, Real Estate, Manufacturing, and Retail, with a focus on C-suite and senior executive engagement. Get creative about finding the warmest way into an account: a mutual connection, a partner introduction, a recent executive move, an advisor relationship, a signal in the market. You find the angle that earns credibility before the first conversation even starts. Build multi-threaded relationships across transformation, operations, IT, and data functions within strategic accounts. Partner tightly with Regional GMs on account strategy, stakeholder mapping, and executive alignment, then hand off the account once the right relationship is secured. Craft outreach that is specific, insight-led, and relevant to where a company is in its AI journey, not spray-and-pray sequences. Represent Unframe at executive events, industry roundtables, and through partner and advisor introductions. Contribute to the evolution of Unframe's outbound playbook: what works, what doesn't, what we should try next. What we are looking for: 3 to 5+ years in enterprise sales, inside sales, or enterprise business development, with a track record of opening and building relationships inside large, complex accounts at the C-suite level. Proven ability to earn executive credibility fast: you can hold a strategic business conversation and leave a CIO, CTO, or senior executive wanting to continue it. Fluency in how large enterprises buy, including who the real economic buyer is, what organizational drag looks like, and how to build momentum without one. Deep familiarity with AI, data, digital transformation, or enterprise SaaS, enough to talk about the problem space intelligently without defaulting to feature specs. Comfortable working with partner networks, advisory/ambassador networks to build strategic pipeline Experience selling into or working closely with financial services, manufacturing, real estate, or retail is a strong plus. Proficiency with Salesforce, Nooks or similar, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and enrichment tools. An entrepreneurial mindset: you build from scratch, you own your results, and you don't wait for inbound to show up. Why join us? You'll be selling access to something that actually works. Our POC is free, tailored to the customer's real use case, and delivered in days, not after a six-month scoping engagement. Customers feel the difference immediately. You'll work directly alongside our best closers, not as support staff, but as the person who gets them in the room in the first place. Compensation built to reward the access and pipeline you create, with real upside as the motion proves out. You'll grow here. We promote based on performance and give people more scope when they earn it. If you thrive in a performance culture with real backing behind you, you will win here.
