Software Engineer, Web Platform

San Francisco, California, United States

$320k-$405k / year

About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Claude.ai is Anthropic's flagship consumer product, spanning web, mobile, desktop, and browser extensions—and it's growing fast. The Web Platform team owns the foundational layer that makes all of this possible: the shared infrastructure, components, APIs, and tooling that let every other product team at Anthropic ship quickly, reliably, and with confidence. As a Software Engineer on this team, you'll be hands-on building the platform that other engineers depend on every day. This means designing and shipping shared components and design-system-level abstractions, evolving the backend-for-frontend (BFF) APIs that power our client applications, and improving the build, deploy, and observability systems that keep Claude.ai running smoothly across surfaces. Your work will directly shape how fast teams across Anthropic can innovate—and how stable their experiences are when they do. This is a great fit if you care deeply about developer experience and want your engineering work to have outsized leverage: instead of shipping one feature, you're building the tools and systems that make dozens of features possible. Key responsibilities Improve developer velocity across the organization by reducing friction in our build, deploy, and testing pipelines Work on performance and reliability: identify and resolve latency issues, improve observability, and help establish high standards that the rest of the platform team can build on Design and build shared UI components, libraries, and abstractions that product teams across Anthropic use to ship consistently and efficiently on web and mobile Partner closely with product engineering teams to understand their needs, unblock them when possible, and shape platform investments around where the most impact is Help maintain and evolve documentation and tooling that make the platform approachable for engineers joining or building on top of it Minimum qualifications Have strong practical skills in modern web technologies (React, TypeScript or comparable frameworks) and experience designing or consuming APIs that serve frontend applications Care about developer experience and have a track record of building things that make other engineers more productive Have solid instincts around reliability, observability, and performance—and enjoy operationalizing those instincts in production systems Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional partners Pick up slack, even if it goes outside your job description Preferred qualifications Have 5+ years of software engineering experience, with significant time spent building shared platforms, developer tools, or infrastructure that other engineers rely on Building shared component libraries, design systems or reusable UI infrastructure API design and and client-server architecture patterns that balance flexibility with consistency across client platforms Performance optimization and latency reduction in production web applications CI/CD, build systems, and/or deployment automation Observability and monitoring (e.g. metrics, logging, tracing) The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary:$320,000—$405,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. Founding Engineer

Berlin, Germany

$60k-$100k / year

Founding Engineer ComplyDo — Global Compliance for Enterprises --- ## We've built something people want. Ready to take it to the next level? ComplyDo is a YC-backed startup based in Berlin building the AI-native operating system for enterprise compliance. We're working with leading enterprise customers, processing hundreds of regulations and standards, and growing fast. Now we're looking for exceptional engineers who want to help scale the product, solve hard technical problems, and build a company that can define an entire category. You'll join a small, ambitious team with a lot of ownership, work directly with customers, ship quickly, and help shape both the product and the engineering culture from the ground up. If you enjoy building, moving fast, and solving problems that actually matter, we'd love to talk. --- ## The Role As a Software Engineer at ComplyDo, you own things end to end. You take a user problem, shape the solution, build it across the stack, ship it, and stay close to it after release. You will work closely with the founders and all the team members. This is not a role where you wait for a task, you start from day 1. We are a seed-stage company. That means the work is real, the scope is wide, and the impact is immediate. If you want to compound your skills fast and work on something that genuinely helps people, this is the right place. --- ## What You Will Work On You will work across our core product: Orchestrating agents, user-facing workflows, and the compliance surfaces that sit on top of them. Examples of the kind of work you will own: * **AI Agents for compliance tasks.** Building and improving agents that can interpret regulatory requirements, guide users through processes, or map regulatory requirements to company internal descriptions. * **User-facing UI/UX.** Designing and building interfaces that make compliance workflows feel simple and obvious. * **Workflow automation.** Multi-step automations with agents, conditions, structured outputs, and human-in-the-loop moments where users stay in control. * **Document and data handling.** Helping users upload, organize, and extract meaning from the compliance documents that govern their work. * **Internal tooling.** The infrastructure that helps us move fast: evals, observability, testing harnesses for agents behavior. During your work at ComplyDo you will touch upon ALL those areas. --- ## Tech Stack * **Frontend:** TypeScript, Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS * **Backend:** Python, MongoDB, Neo4j * **AI layer:** LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), LangChain, LangGraph, … You do not need to know all of this. We trust you to pick up what you do not know quickly. --- ## How We Work * Small, focused squads. We form around a problem, ship, and move on. * Continuous deployment to production. We do not wait. * Engineers join user calls and sit with real users. Feedback is direct and immediate. * We use AI tools heavily: Cursor, Claude, Codex, whatever makes you faster. We expect you to have a workflow and not just vibe code with those tools. * The engineer who ships a change owns it in production. --- ## What We Are Looking For **Must have:** * Genuine passion for AI: you follow the space, you experiment, you have opinions. * Ability to build UI/UX that feels good, not just functional. You care about how things look and feel, not just whether they work. * Able to go from a vague problem to a shipped feature. You scope, decide, build, and iterate. * A bias to action. You do not wait to be told what to do next. **Good to have:** * Some professional experience building and shipping software (internships, freelance, or full-time: we care about what you built, not how long you have been doing it). * Side projects, hackathon wins, open source contributions, or anything you built because you were curious. * Familiarity with compliance, legal tech, or regulated industries, but not required. **We are not looking for:** * Someone who needs years of experience to feel confident. We care about drive and curiosity not a CV. * Someone who prefers to be handed a detailed spec and execute. We want people who help write the spec. --- ## Working Here We work in person in Berlin. We believe hard problems get solved faster at a whiteboard than in a Slack thread. --- Location: Berlin, BE, DE / Berlin, Berlin, DE Type: Full-time Salary: $60K - $100K Experience: Any (new grads ok) Visa: US citizenship/visa not required

Founding MEP Software Engineer

San Francisco, California, United States

$100k-$200k / year

Founding MEP Software Engineer ArchiLabs — AI CAD for AEC We are building the AI CAD tool for architects and engineers, starting with common MEP workflows **About Us** * William and Brian met at Carnegie Mellon * William worked at Meta and built homes in Texas * Brian ran Rent the Backyard (YC S19), a housing factory in Oakland, CA * William and Brian worked on their own CAD tools independently * William and Brian met back up and started working together * William and Brian took a small detour building AI on top of other CAD tools to go to market faster * William and Brian realized with Claude Code it is now possible to build a better CAD engine and get to market * William and Brian took their learnings and market demand and set out to build a better CAD engine from scratch to aid the whole market, starting with MEP **Our CAD Tool** Our CAD tool differentiates with a few core feature sets: * Web-first: heavy computation happens server-side * Code-first: every component is defined via code. The biggest benefit to code-first is that AI is really good at reasoning over code. If you turn CAD into code, LLMs can do amazing things. * Parallelization: cloud-first enables us to spin up agents to test stuff and return completed work back to the main plan The end state for a user: tell the AI what you want, the AI encodes all your business rules & logic down to the component level in deterministic logic, sends a swarm of agents off to test work, then returns a finished, tested plan back to the user. **Why Join the ArchiLabs Team** * You are excited about the physical world and where software and the real world meet * You are excited about unlocking productivity gains across homebuilding, industrials, and more * FUN! The work is fun and the people are (hopefully in your eyes) fun! **The Role**\ We are looking for a founding MEP software engineer.\ \ The founding MEP software engineer role will evolve, but there are a few core areas the person will contribute: * Content: As part of building a CAD tool, we need content on top of the core engine (electrical systems, hvac systems, single-line diagrams, pipes, and more). AI has done heavy-lifting with scoping the breadth of content needed, but we will need a MEP engineer to help translate this isn’t acceptance criteria and QA/QC the work AI outputs. * Forward Deployed Engineering: We expect many engagements to be white glove onboardings. We expect this founding MEP software engineer role to help with these onboardings and to be customer-facing. * PM: We expect this MEP software engineer to be thoughtful about the future of CAD and where our tool needs improvements to meet market needs.\ \ Skillsets/Experience we are looking for: * Experience in MEP * Experience in software engineering Location: San Francisco, CA, US Type: Full-time Salary: $100K - $200K Equity: 0.25% - 1.00% Experience: Any (new grads ok) Visa: Will sponsor

Growth Marketer

$50k-$80k / year

Growth Marketer Callab AI — AI voice agents for on-prem telephony stack. **About Callab AI** Callab AI builds voice agents for enterprise contact centers. The company is backed by Y Combinator (P26 batch), with deployments across North America, Europe, and the Middle East. Callab AI built a proprietary carrier-grade telephony stack that connects natively to on-premises enterprise infrastructure, which allows large organizations to deploy voice agents without migrating anything to the cloud. **About the role** Callab AI is hiring its first dedicated marketer. The role is experimental by design: the person in this role will run structured growth experiments across channels, measure everything, keep what works, and kill what does not. There is no existing playbook to execute. The person in this role will write it. The role reports directly to the CEO and covers the full marketing surface of the company, from search visibility to outbound infrastructure to paid acquisition. **Responsibilities** \- Design, run, and document growth experiments across organic search, paid channels, outbound email, and LinkedIn, with clear hypotheses and success metrics defined before launch. \- Own the company's search presence end to end, covering traditional SEO as well as visibility inside generative AI systems (AI-SEO / GEO), including how the company appears in AI assistants, answer engines, and AI-generated search results. \- Define, track, and report on the full funnel of marketing KPIs, including traffic, conversion rates, CAC, pipeline contribution, and channel-level ROI. \- Build and maintain the analytics stack so that every channel and campaign is attributable and comparable. \- Produce and optimize content for both human readers and AI retrieval, including landing pages, technical explainers, and comparison content. \- Manage and improve the existing marketing infrastructure, which includes HubSpot, Apollo, and Framer. **What we're looking for** \- We want someone with 3+ years in growth or performance marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise software. \- Marketing KPIs are second nature to this person, and they can explain how each one connects to revenue. \- They have real hands-on SEO experience plus a working knowledge of AI-SEO and generative AI search optimization, backed by concrete experiments they have actually run. \- They know their way around the standard toolset: analytics platforms (GA4, Search Console), SEO tools (Ahrefs or Semrush), CRM and automation platforms (HubSpot or equivalent), and paid channel managers (Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager). \- They thrive with high autonomy, minimal process, and direct accountability for results. **Bonus points** \- They have worked at a startup or scale-up before, ideally as an early marketing hire. \- They have marketed technical infrastructure products to engineering or operations buyers. \- They have built outbound email infrastructure at scale and understand deliverability and domain management. Product Marketing / GTM Engineer

$130k-$200k / year

Product Marketing / GTM Engineer Lightsprint — Collaborative product development with cloud agents **The role\ **You'll own growth end to end - and you'll ship it yourself, in code, using the same AI-agent workflow our customers use. Landing pages, growth loops, lifecycle emails, attribution, SEO infrastructure: if it drives signups or activation, it's yours to design, build, measure, and iterate. We have paying customers, a validated enterprise price point, and a self-serve motion that's just getting started. Your job is to turn that into a compounding growth engine. You'll work directly with the founders and have unusual leverage: Lightsprint itself is your build tool. **What you'll do** * Own the funnel. Instrument it, understand it, and systematically improve every step from first touch to activated team - signups, onboarding, conversion to paid. * Ship growth experiments in code. Landing pages, interactive demos, referral loops, programmatic SEO, comparison pages - built fast, measured honestly, killed or scaled without ego. * Build the marketing site as a product. Own [lightsprint.ai](http://lightsprint.ai): performance, conversion, experimentation infrastructure, and the craft that makes it feel like the product it sells. * Run lifecycle and PLG motions. Onboarding emails, activation nudges, upgrade prompts, and the in-product moments that turn a curious PM into a paying team. * Make data the default. Set up analytics and attribution so every decision - paid, content, product-led - is grounded in what actually moves the numbers. **Requirements** * You've driven growth at a PLG or developer-facing SaaS company - ideally early-stage, where you owned outcomes, not just channels. 3+ years of relevant experience. * You can build. Comfortable shipping production-quality web work (React/TypeScript, modern CSS) and fluent with AI build tools like Cursor and Claude Code. * Strong analytical instincts. You design clean experiments, know your way around analytics and attribution tooling, and can find the story in the data yourself. * Full-stack marketing judgment. You can write the headline, design the page, build it, and read the results and you know which of those matters most this week. **Nice-to-have** * Experience with programmatic SEO or content-led growth at scale. * Experience marketing to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Familiarity with the AI coding / agent tooling landscape and its buyers. * Paid acquisition experience (LinkedIn, X, Google) with real budgets. * Past founder or 0-to-1 experience. Founding Product Designer

$130k-$200k / year

Founding Product Designer Lightsprint — Collaborative product development with cloud agents ### The role You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founders in a fast, AI-cloud-agent workflow: talking to customers, framing product, prototyping, and shipping. You will own product design: set the bar, build the system. Lightsprint's users will feel your craft day to day. Our most enthusiastic users are non-technical builders, but we're engineers building in a world previously dominated by engineers. We want UX craft and delight to become why users stay. We need someone whose taste and rigor turn that belief into the product. ### What you'll do * Talk to users constantly and form strong product opinions as a basis for UX. * **Design the multiplayer.** Make working with your team feel genuinely different from working alone: presence, alignment inboxes, personalized reports, and the moments where humans and AI agents collaborate. Treat conflict and co-authorship as UX problems, not just engineering ones. * **Define agent UX.** Translate complex agentic behavior (multi-step tasks, planning, code review, preview environments) into interfaces people understand, trust, and can steer. * **Make a complex, technical platform feel human.** Resolve the power-vs-simplicity tension so non-technical builders feel capable and engineers feel respected, the same surfaces, both audiences. ### Requirements * You've owned design for successful products at real scale or in fast 0-to-1 environments, ideally as an early designer at a company that shipped something people actually use. 7+ years of experience. * Expert in either Figma, Origami, FigJam or similar interface / UX design tools. * Exceptional craft and product judgment. Strong interaction design, visual taste, workflow UX. * Demonstrated ability to make complex things simple. You take dense, multi-step, technical workflows and design clear, focused experiences. ### Nice-to-have * Experience designing real-time, multiplayer, or collaborative software: presence, live cursors/avatars, co-editing, contextual comments, shared state. * Experience designing for both technical and non-technical audiences and can communicate design concepts clearly to both. * Experience designing for AI / agentic products, e.g. human-in-the-loop, trust and transparency, human steering, agent-action legibility. * Past experience in a Product Management or a similar role where you were involved in product discovery. * Can prototype in code (React/TypeScript, modern CSS) and are fluent with AI build tools like Cursor and Claude Code. Kitchener, Ontario, Canada · Wilmot, Ontario, Canada · Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Growth Intern/Co-op - 2026 Fall Clearline — AI operating system for car dealerships to capture missed revenue **_IN PERSON IN OUR KITCHENER OFFICE STARTING SEPT 2026. ONLY APPLY IF YOU CAN WORK LEGALLY IN CANADA._** ## The Role [Clearline](https://useclearline.com) is looking for a Growth Intern/Co-op who wants to join the go-to-market engine of a fast-moving startup. Clearline helps automotive dealerships capture, route, and convert every customer interaction across sales and service—calls, texts, web leads, appointments, and follow-up. We work with dealership teams where a missed call or stale lead directly means lost revenue. You’ll work closely with the founders and go-to-market team on the work that actually creates pipeline: finding the right dealerships, researching accounts, writing outbound, supporting campaigns, learning from real customer conversations, and improving the systems behind it. This is not a “make social posts and sit in meetings” internship. You’ll be expected to take ownership, move quickly, and contribute to revenue-generating work. ## What You’ll Do **Run growth experiments:** Test new audiences, events, channels, offers, and outbound workflows. Track what is working, what is not, and turn that into the next iteration. **Build pipeline:** Research and identify dealership groups, GMs, sales leaders, service leaders, and other buyers who fit Clearline’s ideal customer profile. **Turn research into insight:** Learn how dealerships manage calls, leads, appointments, BDC teams, service overflow, and follow-up—then use those insights to improve targeting and messaging. **Create useful content:** Help turn customer conversations, market observations, product launches, and dealership pain points into outbound assets, founder content, case studies, and website copy. **Work close to the customer:** Sit in on dealership calls and demos. Hear objections directly and help improve how Clearline communicates its value. **Own outcomes:** You will not just complete tasks. You’ll be expected to understand the goal, measure the result, and improve the work. ## What We’re Looking For * Available to work in person from our Kitchener office for the full \[4\]-month co-op/intern term. * Enrolled in a business, commerce, CS or related undergraduate program. Relevant experience matters more than your exact program. * Comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration. You don’t need a perfect brief to get started. * Worked for a fast growing startup previously * Willing to talk to customers, hear direct feedback, and use it to improve your work. * A bias for action: you take ownership, move quickly, and care about results. ## Nice to Have * Previous experience in sales, marketing, business development, startups, consulting, recruiting, or customer-facing work. * Familiarity with CRM tools, outbound tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, HubSpot, Clay, or similar platforms. * Experience writing cold email, LinkedIn outreach, social content, or customer research. * Interest in AI, workflow automation, automotive retail, or B2B SaaS. * A portfolio, personal project, newsletter, campus initiative, side business, or other proof that you’ve made something happen. ## What You’ll Get * Real ownership over work tied directly to pipeline and revenue. * Exposure to the full startup growth loop: positioning, prospecting, outbound, sales calls, customer feedback, onboarding, and retention. * Direct feedback and mentorship from the founders. * The chance to build practical skills that transfer to founding a company, joining an early-stage startup, or future roles in growth, sales, product, and go-to-market.
