This is a two-year rotational early-career program designed to grow power system professionals.

You will serve as the primary interface with NYISO's Market Participants, resolving technical inquiries about wholesale power markets and systems. You'll research and resolve complex issues, act as a customer advocate, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure a complete customer service experience.

You will perform analytical engineering system studies, conduct detailed analysis of system events and disturbances, and maintain electric power system models to ensure reliable operation of the NYISO transmission and generation resources.

As a Configuration Engineer, you will administer and support the Salesforce platform, ensuring system integrity, security, and optimal performance. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to configure solutions that meet business needs and improve user experience.

You'll lead the team that builds and operates NYISO's shared cloud platform, including Kubernetes/EKS, AWS infrastructure-as-code, and delivery tooling. You'll drive platform reliability and security while treating the internal platform as a product with defined service-level objectives. This role offers the chance to shape a mission-critical platform for the New York energy grid.

You'll lead a team of ~10 engineers building **enterprise reporting and analytics solutions** for the New York ISO, managing the full software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to the annual Load and Capacity Data Report.

You'll join the Finance department to perform settlements-related process analyses and software testing for the wholesale electricity market. You'll ensure accurate settlements and support market design through requirements, testing, and algorithm validation. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge energy market operations.

You'll support NYISO's Installed Capacity market by administering auctions and ensuring compliance with tariffs.
