Sierra Club

You'll support grassroots organizing and political campaigns for Sierra Club's Colorado Chapter. You'll assist volunteer committees, build public support, and help achieve chapter goals through phonebanking, canvassing, and events. This intern role offers hands-on learning in environmental advocacy and community engagement.

You'll lead a Sierra Club chapter covering Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties, driving **environmental advocacy campaigns** and **fundraising initiatives**. Your work will protect public lands, transition from oil and gas, and build a clean energy future while growing and diversifying membership. This role is **hybrid**, requiring regular travel across the chapter area.

You'll help build Illinois Sierra Club's grassroots movement for **100% Clean Energy for All** by managing digital communications and fundraising. You'll maintain **mass emails, social media, and website content**, while processing donations and coordinating appeals. This role offers a unique blend of communications and advancement work in a **unionized environmental nonprofit**.

You'll write articles for Sierra Magazine's online and print editions, fact-check, and develop story ideas for a **national environmental news magazine**. You'll gain real-world experience in all aspects of **magazine publishing** while contributing to coverage of climate and justice issues.
