You'll serve as the bridge between **tax domain expertise** and AI/engineering teams, overseeing the development and validation of our **AI-driven tax engine TRAM**. You'll embed with **strategic customers** to solve **cross-border compliance challenges** and design custom solutions on the Sphere platform. You'll own the full lifecycle from discovery to deployment, shaping how Sphere scales its forward-deployed motion.

You'll own new product lines like input tax, withholding tax, e-invoicing, and tariffs, along with mission-critical parts of the Sphere platform. Your work will have **direct impact on company growth** as we scale from tens of millions to billions of transactions. You'll collaborate closely with customers and drive measurable outcomes **from day one**.

You'll own the **end-to-end indirect tax filing process** across multiple jurisdictions for a fast-growing AI company backed by a16z. You'll ensure timely, accurate compliance and build scalable processes. This role is the operational backbone of the tax function in a small, high-impact team.

You'll be the first CS hire at Sphere, a Series A company backed by a16z and YC, building the **CS function from scratch**. You'll own the full customer lifecycle, from triaging issues to expanding contracts, and create **systems and playbooks** for a future team.
