You'll build developer tools including SDKs and CLIs for FriendliAI's AI inference platform, designing ergonomic APIs and managing packaging pipelines. Your work will remove friction for both internal engineers and external users. You'll also collaborate across teams to create examples and documentation for a top-tier developer experience.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement client-side APIs for the Python SDK.
• Build and maintain a cross-platform CLI with modern UX.
• Manage packaging and distribution pipelines.
• Develop internal developer tools for DevOps workflows.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of Python engineering building libraries or SDKs.
• Demonstrated SDK/CLI ownership with API versioning and telemetry.
• Strong Python fundamentals including asyncio, typing, and testing.
• Web API fluency in REST and gRPC.

✨ Nice to Have

• Open-source maintainer or significant contributor in Python libraries.
• Experience with Python AST and meta-programming.
• Cross-language exposure to TypeScript/Node or Go.
