💼 About This Role

You'll build and maintain Veeva.com and its supporting web properties using WordPress, developing custom plugins and themes while managing complex API integrations. Your work ensures technical performance and security, enabling life sciences companies to bring therapies to patients faster.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop maintainable site architectures for business requirements
• Migrate regional WordPress sites into a single multi-site network
• Build and harden integrations between WordPress and internal/external systems via RESTful APIs
• Proactively debug and improve legacy systems, optimizing performance and security

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years engineering large-scale enterprise WordPress websites
• Experience developing custom WordPress plugins and themes
• Advanced PHP expertise
• Working knowledge of Git for version control and MySQL database structures

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with WPML
• Proficiency using Unix command line and WP-CLI
• Broader modern backend/frontend skills: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js
