💼 About This Role

You'll take end-to-end ownership of embedded systems across autonomous maritime platforms, designing edge-AI compute architecture for real-time detection on a tight power budget. You'll lead sea trials and iterate to achieve persistent at-sea operation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design common system architecture for power, sensing, compute, and communications
• Select and integrate edge-AI compute platforms for on-device model inference
• Develop electronics, power distribution, battery systems, and sensor interfaces
• Lead hands-on bring-up, integration, and sea trials of autonomous platforms

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years building embedded systems for real-world applications
• Direct experience with drones or autonomous systems
• Deep command of full embedded stack (electronics, power, sensors, firmware)
• Experience deploying AI/ML models at the edge with accelerators

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with autopilot ecosystems (Pixhawk, ArduPilot, PX4)
• Background in marine autonomy or underwater systems
