We are looking for a backend developer who can help us improve and build better solutions for general contractors. Ideally, you will have a good understanding of backend platforms, technologies, frameworks and cloud application development. Major Responsibilities: • Designing and developing the backend for new products and features, as well as updating and enhancing existing solutions when needed. • Adding new automated tests to our CICD pipeline. • Communicating significant milestones and impediments to Product Management in a timely fashion. Technologies that you will be mostly exposed to: • PHP 7/8 • Microframeworks • Rest APIs • Git • Docker • ElasticSearch • AWS • JavaScript (ES6) • NodeJS • Vue.js • Meteor Qualifications & Experience: • 1-2 years in a similar role or demonstrable knowledge (e.g. an open source project). • Experience with PHP or other server-side languages. • AWS platform and experience integrating with managed services. • Exposure to cloud application development and CI/CD pipelines would be considered an asset. • Experience delivering changes often with zero-downtime deployments and meeting SLAs of 95% and above.
