💼 About This Role

You'll join the storage team within Platform Engineering at Adyen, designing and managing data storage infrastructure for a leading financial technology platform. Your work will directly impact the scalability and reliability of our payment solutions. This role offers the chance to work with enterprise storage systems and automation tools in a collaborative, office-first environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and deploy SAN, NAS, DAS, and Object Storage infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain storage systems for optimal performance.
• Perform capacity planning and forecasting for storage needs.
• Develop and implement backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve storage system issues.

📋 Requirements

• 3-5 years of Linux systems administration with storage focus.
• Proven experience with enterprise storage systems like Purestorage, NetApp, etc.
• Strong understanding of RAID, LVM, NFS, iSCSI, multipathing, and file systems.
• Hands-on experience with clustering technologies and shell scripting.

✨ Nice to Have

• Python, Puppet, or Ansible knowledge.
• Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or KVM.
• Familiarity with cloud storage solutions such as AWS S3 and EBS.
