💼 About This Role

You'll own firmware development for spacecraft subsystems at a space infrastructure startup, designing low-level drivers and real-time control systems. You'll collaborate across electrical, avionics, and software teams to bring robust embedded solutions from concept to orbit.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own firmware development for spacecraft subsystems from concept through on-orbit operations
• Design and debug embedded firmware for microcontrollers, FPGAs, and custom hardware
• Implement low-level drivers and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN)
• Support board bring-up, hardware integration, and HIL testing

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of firmware or embedded software development
• Strong C/C++ programming for embedded systems
• Experience with microcontrollers and/or FPGAs
• Experience with hardware/software integration and board bring-up

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, VxWorks)
• Experience with aerospace or high-reliability systems
• Familiarity with HIL testing and system validation
