You'll implement kernel and user-mode applications for UniFi-Protect product line firmware, from bootloader to user-space. Your work will shape the core of embedded devices that connect millions worldwide. You'll collaborate across teams like EE, Backend, and QA, making a direct impact on product reliability and performance.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Implement kernel and user-mode applications for UniFi-Protect firmware
• Develop features for hardware testing and diagnosis of embedded devices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (EE, Backend, Frontend, QA)
• Work with bootloader, Linux Kernel, rootfs, Websocket, RESTful API, gRPC

📋 Requirements

• C/C++ proficiency
• Embedded Linux driver and kernel/user mode development experience
• Video/audio streaming and transcoding knowledge
• Experience with ARM platform and debuggers (gdb, strace)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, BeagleBoard
• Familiarity with OpenWRT/BuildRoot/Yocto
• Knowledge of hardware protocols (gpio, usb, uart, spi, i2c)
