You'll join the MongoDB Query Testing Tools Team to build automated testing frameworks and performance measurement tools for a state-of-the-art distributed query system. Your work ensures correctness and performance at scale, directly protecting real customers. This role offers the chance to shape tooling for one of the most widely used databases globally.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain automated testing frameworks for the query engine
• Develop performance automated tests and internal tooling
• Collaborate with peers to ensure testability and coverage for new features
• Provide code review feedback focusing on robustness and reliability

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development or performance engineering
• Fluency in Python, Javascript, or Typescript
• Ability to decompose and solve complex problems in a distributed environment
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills

• Hands-on experience with relational or NoSQL databases
• Experience in query processing engine testing
• Background in database query engines or compilers
