💼 About This Role

You'll lead frontend initiatives for Log Management at New Relic, building customer-facing UIs that interface with high-throughput data streaming systems. Your work will drive AI-driven innovations within Logs Intelligence.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead development of customer-facing UIs for Logs Intelligence, Compliance, and Ingestion.
• Develop Java-based backend services and APIs feeding log management UIs.
• Participate in on-call rotation for APIs and streaming services.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to ship software incrementally.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience as a Frontend specialist.
• Expertise in React including hooks, state management, and component architecture.
• Solid experience in Java for backend API development.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI tools to improve engineering efficiency.

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Kafka and highly distributed systems.
• Experience with high data throughput products.
• Previous site reliability work or maintaining streaming pipelines.
