💼 About This Role

You'll develop embedded system firmware and kernel-level modules for SwoopOS, a distributed operating system running on heterogeneous hardware across power grids and military infrastructure. You'll influence the intersection of AI, robotics, and the physical world.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain embedded system firmware
• Contribute to OS integration and kernel-level modules
• Design application-layer features using firmware interfaces
• Collaborate with engineering teams on cross-boundary issues
• Support deployment engineering for customer requirements

📋 Requirements

• Active TS Clearance
• Bachelor's in CS/CE/EE or equivalent experience
• 4+ years in OS/kernel development, RTOS, or embedded systems
• Experience in C and Rust
• Understanding of low-level hardware

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of microcontrollers, SoC, device drivers, hardware bringup
• Familiarity with serial protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, USB
• Understanding of clocks and timing for processor instructions
