💼 About This Role

You'll design and build the core AI platform (gateways, orchestration, retrieval) that powers customer-facing assistants and internal tools. This role focuses on systems, reliability, and integration, ensuring AI is safe, scalable, and cost-effective across teams. You'll partner closely with Product, Backend, Data Science, and Security to define AI capabilities.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain the AI Gateway for routing and rate limiting
• Develop the AI orchestration layer for prompts and tool calls
• Implement RAG pipelines using company data
• Integrate with LLM providers and manage model configurations

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years in backend, platform or infrastructure engineering
• Strong experience building production APIs and distributed systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Practical experience integrating AI/ML models via APIs

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building internal platforms or developer tooling
• Exposure to fintech, payments or regulated environments
• Experience with vector databases or search systems
