💼 About This Role

You'll lead the measurement and experimentation strategy for OpenAI's monetization infrastructure, including checkout, payments, and subscriptions. Your work will directly impact revenue durability and global expansion. This role combines strategic leadership with deep technical execution.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define north-star revenue and monetization metrics across checkout, payments, and subscriptions.
• Build and oversee the experimentation program for in-house checkout and subscription systems.
• Hire, mentor, and grow a team of high-impact data scientists.
• Lead analytics for international payment method expansion, FX strategy, and pricing localization.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years in data science, experimentation, or product analytics with leadership experience
• Experience leading monetization, payments, checkout, or subscription analytics
• Deep fluency in SQL and Python, and strong causal inference instincts
• Track record of building experimentation platforms or scaling testing programs

✨ Nice to Have

• Payments infrastructure or PSP experience
• Background in offline incrementality, uplift modeling, CUPED, or counterfactual evaluation
• Experience with global payment methods, FX strategy, and pricing optimization
