💼 About This Role

You'll work on Scala infrastructure for Quantifind's Platform team, building data services and ML infrastructure that powers SaaS products for financial crimes risk management. You'll process terabytes of data daily on dedicated Hadoop clusters and develop microservices with REST APIs.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and deliver data services and machine learning infrastructure
• Develop standalone services in Scala and Python
• Build microservices with REST APIs for real-time query engines
• Set up ETL pipelines for data streams

📋 Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science
• 2+ years professional platform engineering experience
• Professional experience with Scala and/or Java
• Experience working with PostgreSQL

✨ Nice to Have

• Understanding of JVM internals and 2+ years relevant JVM experience
• Experience with Apache Spark or MapReduce
• Familiarity with Memcached or Redis
