💼 About This Role

You'll join a focused team owning part of the production environment and developer experience at Hootsuite. You'll write software, tools, and automation to build and maintain our infrastructure platform in a hybrid role based in Bucharest, Romania.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Write software, tools, libraries, automation, and services
• Design and build our infrastructure platform
• Identify and implement new platform features
• Diagnose and repair distributed systems

📋 Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
• Ability to write software and working knowledge of Java and OOP
• Proven experience creating stable, reliable, performing, and maintainable code
• Familiarity with data modeling and schema design

✨ Nice to Have

• Working knowledge of Linux systems administration
• Experience with cloud infrastructure operation and maintenance
• Understanding of SaaS software development practice
