💼 About This Role

You'll architect and own the firmware for a noninvasive wearable that turns thought into text. Your core impact is orchestrating a distributed-compute platform with multiple MCUs for sensor acquisition, media, and power management, shipping the product by end of year.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect firmware across the distributed-compute platform (RTOS, inter-processor protocols, OTA).
• Own the runtime hosting audio DSP, camera capture, and biopotential acquisition subsystems.
• Drive low-power firmware on the always-on MCU (state machines, privacy, thermal throttling).
• Build multi-MCU time-sync layer for correlating EEG, audio, and camera data.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of embedded firmware engineering with at least one shipped consumer product.
• Deep expertise across embedded RTOSes and bare-metal ARM Cortex-M.
• Hands-on experience hosting real-time DSP runtimes with wireless connectivity on MCUs.
• Strong background in multi-radio coexistence (Wi-Fi + BLE), low-power state machine, and OTA.

• Deploying neural network inference to low-power MCUs or dedicated AI accelerators.
• Familiarity with on-device inference frameworks and edge AI runtimes.
• Custom AI accelerator silicon or neuromorphic compute platforms.
