💼 About This Role

You'll provide technical leadership across firmware platforms and drive cross-functional initiatives critical to WHOOP's hardware and software roadmap. You'll bridge the physical and digital worlds as part of a team building power-efficient firmware for wearable devices.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Provide technical leadership and architectural ownership for firmware platforms.
• Design, develop, and test embedded firmware in C for WHOOP devices.
• Resolve complex cross-team issues spanning firmware, hardware, and manufacturing.
• Drive scalable testing, validation, and CI strategies across teams.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in C and embedded systems on ARM Cortex.
• Experience with low-power embedded system design and optimization.
• Deep understanding of I2C, SPI, UART, and BLE protocols.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with high-volume consumer electronics products.
• Experience with operating systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with AI and emerging development tools for firmware.
