💼 About This Role

You'll build AI-powered product experiences using TypeScript, React, and LLM provider APIs for the BrazeAI Operator, a chat assistant embedded in the product. You'll develop the agentic tool runtime that lets the AI take actions on behalf of users, improving reliability and safety. This role offers the chance to define excellent AI assistance for sophisticated marketing teams.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build AI-powered product experiences using TypeScript, React, and LLM APIs
• Develop the agentic tool runtime for BrazeAI Operator
• Build integrations with core Braze product surfaces and third-party vendors
• Improve reliability, observability, and safety of LLM-backed systems

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong technical impact
• Strong in modern frontend development and comfortable across the full stack
• Experience building production systems integrating with AI/ML models or LLM APIs
• Care about reliability, observability, safety, and user trust in AI-powered products

✨ Nice to Have

• Prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, or agentic system design
• Real-time systems, streaming protocols, or event-driven architectures
• Ruby on Rails experience
