💼 About This Role

You'll ensure smooth operations of the Customer Identity Cloud at Okta, working closely with the SRE team. Your primary focus will be on keeping production systems operational and setting long-term operational success. This role offers potential career growth into Site Reliability Engineering.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Execute operational work including updating and patching systems
• Maintain the Engineering Service Desk queue and triage requests
• Monitor platform health and alleviate deployment and operations issues
• Assist with capacity, performance, and scalability testing

📋 Requirements

• 1+ years in a Cloud Operations role
• 1+ years in a production environment supporting large-scale applications
• General platform infrastructure knowledge including load balancing and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with open source technologies like MongoDB and NodeJS

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of terraform or Datadog
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Understanding of programming in golang or shell scripting
