You'll ensure the rock-solid reliability and scalability of Kong's critical managed services, directly impacting customer trust. You'll resolve complex incidents and build resilient automation for cloud environments.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Implement and maintain automation for deploying Managed Gateways across cloud environments.
• Monitor system health and performance, targeting 99.99% availability.
• Resolve production incidents and participate in on-call rotations.
• Build tools and systems to enhance platform reliability and efficiency.

📋 Requirements

• Experience applying SRE principles in production.
• Proficiency in Golang or Python for automation and infrastructure as code.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Kong Gateway or other API management platforms.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator).
• Active contributions to open-source projects or developer communities.
