💼 About This Role

You'll build and lead Replit's Anti-Abuse team from the ground up, defining the roadmap and hiring a small team. You'll ship systems to protect the platform from adversarial actors while keeping friction low for legitimate users. This role is for someone who multiplies their output with AI coding tools rather than stepping away from the craft.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build anti-abuse roadmap and threat model from scratch.
• Design progressive verification and identity infrastructure.
• Ship as a hands-on EM using AI coding tools.
• Define metrics and build data pipelines for anti-abuse.

📋 Requirements

• 6-10+ years engineering with 2+ years managing teams in anti-abuse or adversarial domain.
• Hands-on orientation: write code, review PRs, prototype.
• Experience building detection and enforcement systems at scale.
• Strong product and metrics intuition for ambiguous problems.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-native abuse vectors (prompt injection, LLM token farming).
• Familiarity with payment fraud, card testing, or referral abuse.
• Experience integrating KYC and identity verification providers.
