💼 About This Role

You'll define and lead the information security strategy at Valarian, a dual-use technology company building secure enclaves. You'll protect cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms, and internal tooling while embedding security into development workflows. This hands-on leadership role spans strategy, architecture, and execution.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own and execute Valarian's end-to-end information security strategy
• Lead security posture across ISO-27001, SOC 2, and other frameworks
• Design scalable security architecture across cloud and applications
• Partner with Engineering to embed secure-by-design principles

📋 Requirements

• Proven experience leading information security in a cloud-first environment
• Deep expertise in securing cloud infrastructure and modern workplace tooling
• Practical experience with SOC 2 and ISO-27001
• Experience implementing security tooling such as SIEM, EDR, and CSPM
