💼 About This Role

You'll design data workflows and pipelines for ETL/ELT while ensuring data quality and secure exchange across AWS cloud and on-prem environments. Your work will directly support U.S. government mission-critical systems. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge streaming and Kubernetes technologies in a security-focused environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design data workflows, pipelines, and ETL/ELT processes on AWS and on-prem
• Implement systems engineering for reliability, scalability, and maintainability of data layer
• Architect and operate Kafka/Redpanda data streaming on Kubernetes
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and monitoring with Terraform

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years building production data pipelines and databases on Kubernetes
• Experience designing and deploying Kafka/Redpanda solutions on Kubernetes
• Experience creating data pipelines from scratch with large volume processing
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles for data layer reliability

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with machine learning and generative AI models
• Familiarity with API Security, Container Security, AWS Cloud Security
• Experience with cybersecurity principles for securing data systems
