💼 About This Role

You'll lead FPGA architecture and development for new product lines on the AIRS team. You'll drive designs from prototype to production for high-performance cooled infrared imaging solutions in a defense technology environment. This role offers the chance to shape mission-critical systems from concept through flight testing.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and design FPGA firmware in VHDL for new product lines
• Integrate firmware with multidisciplinary hardware/software teams
• Develop test benches and validate designs with lab equipment
• Optimize FPGA algorithms for performance and power efficiency

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years experience developing HDL firmware for FPGA devices
• Expertise in VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog for RTL design
• Experience with Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus FPGA tools
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-gigabit SERDES, DDR memory, and Ethernet interfaces
• Embedded software development with timers, interrupts, and peripherals
• Knowledge of embedded Linux, device trees, and hardware drivers
