💼 About This Role

You'll execute PawaPay's cybersecurity programme across West Africa, implementing global security strategy in a remote, pan-African fintech environment. You'll be the regional face of cybersecurity, driving day-to-day security operations and regulatory engagement.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Execute PawaPay's cybersecurity programme across West African operations
• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability reviews
• Monitor, detect and respond to security threats and incidents
• Support regulatory and compliance engagements with central banks and regulators
• Act as regional security point of contact for internal teams

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in information security or cybersecurity
• Professional fluency in both English and French
• Hands-on experience with threat monitoring, incident response and vulnerability management
• Experience engaging with regulators, central banks or data protection authorities in West Africa

✨ Nice to Have

• CEH, CISSP, CISA or equivalent certifications
• Familiarity with mobile money ecosystems, payment infrastructure or API-driven platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
