💼 About This Role

You'll ensure the stability, scalability, and reliability of Backblaze's cloud storage services. Your work will directly impact customer-facing systems performance and drive automation to reduce manual effort. You'll collaborate with engineering teams to embed reliability into day-to-day operations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Monitor service health using SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response
• Develop automation scripts to reduce manual toil
• Contribute to monitoring and alerting frameworks

📋 Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in site reliability or related field
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go
• Experience with Linux systems administration and troubleshooting
• Understanding of Kubernetes and Docker

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Familiarity with ITIL/OSS practices and SLO/SLA
• Exposure to large-scale production systems
