You'll own critical pieces of mission-mode firmware running on embedded controllers and management cores at Tenstorrent, collaborating with hardware and software teams to deliver reliable platforms. You'll bring up new hardware and build boot, update, telemetry, and power-management capabilities. This role offers the chance to shape long-term firmware architecture for cutting-edge AI systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop, maintain, and optimize embedded firmware for microcontrollers and SoCs
• Bring up new platforms through early diagnostics and power-on sequencing
• Build boot, update, telemetry, logging, and power-management capabilities
• Create validation coverage through unit, integration, and system-level testing

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware or low-level system software
• Strong C/C++ fundamentals and bare-metal or RTOS-based development
• Hands-on experience bringing up hardware platforms and debugging at hardware-software boundary
• Experience with bootloaders, embedded Linux, drivers, and firmware validation workflows

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Zephyr RTOS
• Knowledge of power and thermal management
• Experience with Python-based automation or CI
