Description

You will work alongside experienced software engineers to design, code, test, and maintain Jump Trading's distributed trading system and supercomputer, contributing to production code and gaining experience with full-cycle Agile development. This intensive 10-week internship is the primary path to full-time opportunities at Jump.

Requirements

• Hands-on proficiency in C++ or Python on Linux
• Strong understanding of data structures and threading models
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team, deploying software daily
• Passion for solving complex problems and building optimal solutions from scratch
• Interest in hardware, networking, and OS design for high-performance software

Responsibilities

• Work side by side with experienced software engineers on production code
• Contribute to real-time large-scale, high-performance trading platform and infrastructure
• Gain experience with full-cycle Agile development, testing, and release
• Receive ongoing feedback and coaching from a dedicated mentor
